CTGA Control of Damages

An application designed for an international insurance company, the aim of which is to register and monitor damages produced during transportation of all kinds of merchandise. Its Web-based nature enables new nodes to be included in the logistics chain through a simple Internet connection.

The information on damages recorded on the different nodes is available immediately at the Central Offices, where this information is managed with the support of the application during the life cycle of the damages, from estimating the cost through to repair.

The major benefit for the client is cost savings:

• From the activity itself: delimitation of liability for damages, rejecting erroneous claims.
• Administrative: all of the dossier documentation is available immediately.

The extranet made available to clients of the insurance company represents value-added to the service already on offer, and can be used as a sales weapon to win new contracts.

CTGA Agilizamos

Management of terminals and dry docks: registration of vehicles received, control of stock and shipping, internal operations; electronic data interchange (EDI), traceability and quality control, with support for the use of mobile terminals for data capture. The damages reports determine subsidiary liabilities.

Traceability of vehicles: logistics monitoring of vehicles system. Locating at port terminals and those transported by sea, using the GPS position of each vessel.

CTGA Varada Segura

Calculation of the maximum angle of list with which a vessel can enter the floating dock without causing a fault on one of the side blocks.

Management of industrial warehousing with stock control and traceability of material on consignment. Registration of the physical condition of material at the time it is returned.
